Conveyancing searches provider Geodesys has launched its first Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar of the year.

The event will provide attendees with an update on recent changes to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) assessment such as additional assessments and the introduction of on-site visits.

The seminar, which is free to attend and includes brunch, will take place on January 29 at the Belton Woods Hotel.

Kay Toon, client account manager at Geodesys, said: “Geodesys has been involved in providing CPD opportunities for conveyancers for over 10 years, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting industry best practice.

“We look forward to welcoming delegates and have put together a fantastic line-up of incredibly knowledgeable experts who can share their extensive knowledge of the latest developments.”

Industry experts including Eleanor O’Reilly-Joe, head of accreditations at the Law Society, Denise Butler, director, Peacock Risk Management and CQS assessor Peter Rodd, will be presenting throughout the event.
