GHL appoints finance director

Mason, a chartered accountant, is the latest appointment as part of an expansion programme that has seen a number of new specialist staff join the GHL Group since the turn of the year. His arrival will ensure that the GHL Group has solid foundations for the continued growth of the Group.

Mason worked in the Cable & Wireless International businesses for over 10 years. Latterly, he was director of finance & IT for the international division, which covered primarily, the Caribbean, Panama and Macau. Previously, he also headed the finance and IT divisions at Cable & Wireless’ businesses in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.

Prior to his time at Cable & Wireless he occupied a variety of roles in the travel sector running a travel company in the Seychelles for a number of years as part of the Hong Kong based Swire Group and also a senior finance role with the Thomas Cook Group.

Looking forward to heading GHL’s finance division, Mason said: “The GHL Group is an ambitious organisation with creative ideas on how to stay ahead in the industry. There are a host of skilled individuals within the finance department, and the Group itself. GHL have a lot to be proud of and I’m looking forward to heading a dynamic team and helping to move the business on.”
