Goldsmith Williams adds to teams

Simon Wade has been appointed head of marketing while Michaela Hickson and Laura Ward join as marketing executives. Emma Gilhooley and Kelly Latham have both been appointed as national account managers. The firm is also set to announce two further appointments to the sales team at the end of the month, bringing the total number of appointments to the sales and marketing function to seven.

The appointments come on the back of an extremely successful first four months of 2006 for Goldsmith Williams, when business volumes increased significantly with over £900m of instructions received.

Eddie Goldsmith, senior partner at Goldsmith Williams, commented: “These new appointments will help us to build on the momentum of recent months, and will enable us to accelerate further growth both on a regional and national basis. Each individual offers excellent skills in their own area of expertise and jointly they will be valuable additions to the firm.”

Simon Wade, head of marketing, added: “Goldsmith Williams has grown consistently over the last 22 years, however, we recognise that in order to maintain our position as the intermediary’s choice, we have to continue to constantly raise our already high standards. By increasing the business support team in sales and marketing we are improving the level of service we can offer our introducer market.”
