Hampshire Trust Bank appoints independent non-executive director

Hampshire Trust Bank has hired Astrid Grey as an independent non-executive director.

Grey was previously chief operating officer, group internal audit, at Lloyds Banking Group, where she worked within the commercial banking risk division between 2011 and 2015.

She was also chief credit officer at Deutsche Bank, while she held senior positions at CS First Boston (now Credit Suisse) and Moody’s Investors Services.

Robert Sharpe, chairman of Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “Astrid has an impressive track record as a risk professional in the banking industry and we are fortunate to have secured her as a member of the Hampshire Trust Bank board.
