Hanley Economic Building Society has launched a 2019 self-build campaign to engage with growing numbers of self-builders and provide additional support for intermediaries with self-build clients.
The society said it will have or had a presence at a number of events.
These include: The Homebuilding & Renovating Show at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre on 19 and 20 January, The Self-Build & Design Show at Peterborough Arena on 9 and 10 March, The Homebuilding & Renovating Show at Scottish Event Campus (Glasgow) on 1 and 2 June and The Grand Designs Live at National Exhibition Centre (Birmingham) on 9 to 13 October.
David Lownds, head of marketing & business development at Hanley Economic Building Society, said: “This campaign underlines our ongoing intention of constructing a competitive and well-rounded self-build offering which self-builders and intermediaries can have full confidence in.
“We have come a long way in the past year. We launched our very first fixed rate self-build product to add variety to our proposition and extended our self-build offering into Scotland.
“Since its launch in November we have seen enquires from Scottish brokers steadily grow, and with Spring not too far away we expect a natural increase in self-build demand across the UK.”
Hanley Economic BS in the process of revamping its self-build lending guide to offer further support, advice and expertise to self-builders and intermediary partners. It is also embarking upon a wide-ranging marketing and advertising campaign over the course of the year.
The society entered the self-build sector in 2008 distributing its products through self-build specialist finance providers.
