Home Buyer and MortgageStream integrate

Home Buyer is to provide the compliant advice and sales process, with the post-application case management system provided by MortgageStream.

The integration of the two software providers will provide brokers with an MGI solution that includes single data entry, scanning and filing of documents, letter generation, recording of calls and interviews, and fee and commission tracking. A full audit trail, RMAR reporting and access to management information are included in the proposition.

Richard Angliss, director of Home Buyer Systems, was pleased with the integrated solution: “We are delighted to be teaming up with MortgageStream to offer MGI intermediaries a seamless, end-to-end sales, compliance and back-office solution.”

Paul Holden, sales director of MortgageStream, commented: “Up until now networks have had to heavily compromise on functionality. Sales compliance and management information software would provide excellent information to the network but do very little for the broker in terms of functionality to track, process or administer cases.

“Correspondingly, mortgage case management software gave the broker all features to run a busy mortgage brokerage, but gave no centralised data facility for the network. With the fully integrated mortgage software from Home Buyer & MortgageStream, users can have the best of both worlds.”

Alan Lakey, senior partner at Highclere Financial Services, said: “It sounds like a good idea and I would be interested in finding out more. However as always it comes down to three factors; cost, the ease of use and the ability to integrate it within current working systems, or alternatively change working systems to fit round the package.”
