The CeMAP version of the Competence Maintenance Tool has gone live with several large organizations already signed up. This version features a wide range of scenarios that mortgage advisers can tailor to their individual needs.

“When we launched CeMAP® the industry was self-regulating,” says Mark Roberts, Head of Faculty Financial Regulation, at the ifs. “Today, we are dealing with a regulatory environment that moves faster, reaches deeper, and bites harder than ever before. Our new online competency solution provides advisers with a powerful, interactive platform that matches the pace of regulation.”

At the moment, the product has been designed with corporate customers in mind, but demand for the product has been unprecedented. Said Roberts: “We had taken corporate registrations for CMT before we’d officially launched it! We always include the industry in the development of our offerings. People liked what they heard about it and on seeing the final product, were keen to sign up. We can’t ask for better endorsement than that!”

It is planned that in time, the Competence Maintenance Tool will be available for individual users but for now individuals can sign up for a free demonstration by visiting www.ifse-learning.com.
