News International Limited and realestate.com.au Ltd have announced the purchase of Asserta Holdings Limited which owns Propertyfinder. com. The deal values the company at £15 million.

News International and realestate. com.au jointly purchased 95 per cent of Asserta Holdings for £14.3 million from funds advised by venture capital firm Arts Alliance as well as minority shareholders including Hamptons Group Limited and management.

Britannia launches two-year fixed deals

Britannia has launched a two-year fixed rate and two-year fixed remortgage package. Its two-year fixed rate is available at 4.24 per cent up to 95 per cent LTV. A £399 arrangement fee and £100 admin fee exist on the product.

Britannia’s two-year fixed rate remortgage package also includes a £399 arrangement fee but has no admin charge. Available at 4.39 per cent and 95 per cent LTV the remortgage product has a free first standard valuation and free conveyancing service.

Charcolonline.co.uk launches lifetime tracker

Charcolonline.co.uk has launched a lifetime tracker with drop lock facility, giving borrowers the opportunity to ‘drop’ into a fixed rate during their loan without penalty. The exclusive tracker is available at Bank of England Base Rate plus 0.19 per cent for the term of the loan with no early repayment charge.
