Abacus Permanent is to offer free valuations across its entire adverse product range for a limited period.

Announcing the service, which runs until 31 December, Marc Turner, head of sales at Abacus, commented: “This will be of huge appeal to that particular area of the market in so much as it will enable customers to apply for their mortgage without being stung by a large initial outlay.”

Network charge waived for new HLP members

HomeLoan Partnership (HLP) has revealed new appointed representatives that join the network will not pay network charges across its non-conforming range for the first six months of their membership.

Martin Cave , managing director at HLP, said: “By waiving our network charges for non-conforming business for six months after joining, we are offering a real incentive to brokers to benefit financially from a move to HLP. The more business they do in the six months the better off they will be.”

Mortgage Bureau ( UK) offers free valuations on Unity products

The Mortgage Bureau (UK) has heralded the launch of the Professional Mortgage Packagers Alliance’s (PMPA) lender Unity Homeloans by offering free valuations on its whole product range until the end of the year. Head of sales at MBUK, Mike Lloyd, said he was delighted with the launch and was pleased to offer the incentive until the end of 2005.
