SPML extends refund offer

Southern Pacific Mortgages Limited (SPML) has extended its refund offer on all its products to 12 August. All new applications received by this time and which complete by 30 September, will qualify for a refund of one month’s mortgage payment.

John Prust, sales and marketing director at SPML, said: “The extra four weeks will give more customers the chance to benefit from this cash incentive.”

Chelsea offers a Helping Hand

Chelsea Building Society has launched a first-time buyer (FTB) product called Chelsea’s Helping Hand Mortgage. It is available to the intermediary market exclusively through Openwork and offers an alternative to guarantor mortgages. The product can include up to three incomes and have four applicants, which enhances the overall borrowing capacity. The length of the mortgage term is based on the age of the child, not the parents.
