Intrinsic has appointed Charlotte Nixon as proposition director for the Intrinsic mortgage network, where she will work closely with Gemma Harle who has taken on an expanded job role.
Previously managing director for mortgage network, Harle will now be managing director of financial planning and the mortgage network.
Nixon (pictured) joins the network from Vitality UK where she was a national account manager for two years. Prior to this she held a variety of positions at Personal Touch Financial Services.
Nixon said: “I am pleased to be a part of one of the largest mortgage and wealth networks in the UK especially at such an exciting time for the company. The network’s scale and strength make it a market leading proposition.
Harle added: “Charlotte is a fantastic addition to the mortgage network and brings a range of expertise which will be vital for the network going forward. Not only does she have an excellent understanding of the intermediary market and the role networks play in supporting brokers to provide quality advice.
“She will be crucial in helping this business continue to meet and exceed the needs of advisers and their clients.”
In 2018, Intrinsic’s network had over 2,000 advisers licenced to sell both mortgage and protection business and sold a total of £22bn in mortgage applications over the period.
