Legal & General launches competition for intermediaries

Legal & General has launched a ‘Hero in the Middle’ competition, to recognise intermediaries who have made a real difference to their clients and families’lives and celebrate the ‘hero’ role they play in the protection market.

L&G is looking for stories that demonstrate the value of intermediaries by improving a client’s cover, or having the right cover in place when the worst happens. Submissions are open until the 15 February and prizes include an Apple Watch Series 4 and up to 10 Amazon gift cards worth £50 each.

Craig Brown, director, Legal & General intermediary, said: “The launch of our ‘Hero in the Middle’ competition is a great way to kickstart 2019, our aim is to shine a light on the key role intermediaries play in protecting families.

“Protection is the insurance people need the most and have the least;and it’s intermediaries who make the biggest difference. Those who go above and beyond to ensure clients and their families are covered deserve to be recognised and we hope the campaign shows our appreciation of their outstanding work.”

Winners will be drawn in March with the stories to be shared to raise consumer awareness of the value of intermediaries.

To enter, intermediaries must submit their stories via an online portal here:www.herointhemiddle.co.uk/adviser?cid=PR18280.
