LendInvest wins startup award

LendInvest, which turned over £15m in 2015, was described by judges as a “pioneering London lender” and “worthy number one”.

LendInvest has taken number one spot in the Startups 100 list for 2016.

The list counts down “the UK’s rising start-up stars set for explosive growth” and previous winners have included Purple Bricks, Notonthehighstreet, Zoopla and Hello Fresh.

LendInvest, which turned over £15m in 2015, was described by judges as a “pioneering London lender” and “worthy number one”.

Christian Faes (pictured), chief executive and co-founder of LendInvest, said: “You only have to look at previous winners, and the other members of this year’s top 100 list, to see we are in impressive company.

LendInvest plans to increase its headcount from 90 to 150 by the end of 2016.
