L&G launches annual awards

Legal & General has launched its sixth annual Business Quality Awards.

The awards are open for submissions in the outstanding customer outcome category.

Entries for the outstanding customer outcome category will be accepted until submissions close on Friday 30 September 2016. The remaining categories will be judged on a series of performance metrics by Legal & General’s distribution quality management team.

Launched in 2011, the awards recognise IFAs and network advisors who have demonstrated best practice in customer service and a commitment to retaining clients in the protection business.

This year sees a new category for data precision, recognising accuracy when collecting client information at the point of sale for the successful completion of protection applications.

Steve Bryan, director, intermediary, at Legal & General, said: “Over the past six years, the Business Quality Awards have been a key part of the protection calendar, where we recognise advisers who demonstrate the very best in customer service and supporting retention business.

“Recognising the exceptional standards and achievements of our winners and entrants each year plays an important role in encouraging the industry to continue to offer a high level of service for consumers seeking advice on some of the most important financial decisions they will make in their lives.”

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony, which will take place between 11am and 3pm on Thursday 9 February 2017 at One Coleman Street, London, EC2R 5AA.

Bryan added: “We very much look forward to judging this year’s submissions and to announcing the winners of the 2016 Business Quality Awards.”
