LGSS appoints new technical director

Legal & General Surveying Services (LGSS) has appointed James Ginley FRICS (pictured) as its new technical director with immediate effect.

Ginley joined LGSS in January 2013 as head of risk, and has been actively involved in industry forums and was awarded RICS Residential Young Surveyor of the year in 2015.

He was recently the lead author of the RICS Flooding Information Paper and RICS Complaints handling guidance for firms.

Ginley added: “This is a great opportunity to develop our Property Risk team’s proposition even further.
