Lifestyle moves into broker market

Since its inception in 2001, Lifestyle Finance has rapidly become a major player in the sub prime mortgage market, previously dealing direct with borrowers via the company’s call centres in Rotherham and Liverpool.

The company is now entering the intermediary sector, offering fast track packaging to mortgage introducers who do not package sub prime applications for themselves. In addition to building strategic packaging partnerships with individual broker firms, Lifestyle is currently recruiting a team of business development managers to target the sub prime mortgage broker market in general.

Mark Williams, Lifestyle Finance’s head of business development is currently building a team of business development managers to cover the UK.

He says: “The company has built up considerable expertise in specialist sub prime mortgage packaging that we can now extend to mortgage advisers. We can offer economies of scale that are beyond the reach of smaller adviser firms. For example, we have lenders’ underwriters on site to ensure fast track offers and completions, and our technology systems offer brokers extensive management information reporting and direct links into our database for case tracking and transparency. We believe this strong proposition will be very attractive to experienced sub prime mortgage BDMs who are looking to join a successful and fast-growing team.”
