Metro Bank provides £33.5m funding to hospital charity
Metro Bank has provided £33.5m loan facilities to the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity.
The loan will be used to expand the charity’s property portfolio, with the acquisition of its headquarters on the Kings Road, Chelsea.

“These are testing times for the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, and our partnership with Metro Bank is enabling the charity to grant vital funding to support the care and treatment of patients with complex heart and lung conditions, while keeping our property portfolio strong.”
The Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity funds special projects at both The Royal Brompton Hospital and The Harefield Hospital, helping to maintain their status as world-class centres of excellence for the research, diagnosis, treatment and care of heart and lung diseases.
