MoneySuperMarket has further enhanced its integration with NatWest bank on its mortgage platform to allow homebuyers to go from comparison-to-completion on all purchase applications.
All purchase mortgage customers can now get a purchase decision in principle from NatWest on MoneySuperMarket, and then go on to apply – directly with NatWest bank.
This technology integration with NatWest is the first in the property purchase market and complements the remortgage integrations already in place on MoneySuperMarket with NatWest, Nationwide and Santander.
Mark Gracey, corporate development director at MoneySuperMarket, said: “Direct digital mortgage integrations are a key strategy for MoneySuperMarket, and to be the first comparison site to partner with NatWest on a purchase API means our customers can now experience a more seamless and even quicker application process.
Tom Newcombe, product director at by technology partner Podium Solutions which built the platform, said: “We at Podium are delighted to be working with NatWest to deliver a market-first purchase journey from comparison-to- completion. Helping customers find the right mortgage is critical, and this is a crucial step in that direction.”
Dave Harries, head of digital distribution at NatWest Bank, concluded: “We’ve seen a great customer response to our remortgage journey on MoneySuperMarket and this is now the next step in the roll-out of our integrated mortgage journeys.
“We’re proud to be delivering this market-first in partnership with MoneySuperMarket and Podium and look forward to future opportunities to improve the digital mortgage experience for customers.”
