Alan has been with the company for over 2 years, heading up the development and sales support teams and previously was National Development Manager for The Royal Bank of Scotland’s Intermediary Mortgage Services.

Jason Graham, managing director of Mortgage-1, said “The plans for the growth of Mortgage-1 are to increase volumes from 3500 applications per annum to 6000 p.a. and we need someone at the helm who will help us to take Mortgage-1 to this next level. Alan’s experience in the intermediary mortgage market and success of developing and promoting our services to over 1900 members made him the ideal candidate”.
Mortgage-1 recently announced record numbers of applications for the first quarter of 2006 and at the same time produced the best turnaround times for new cases to completion since 1999.

Delighted at his new position, Alan Waddington said “We have already made great strides in Mortgage-1 to provide a top class service to our members but we have no room for complacency. We want to capitalize on the superb relationships with our lender partners and our members to make Mortgage-1 the packager to rival all others.

“Additional underwriters have been added to the team recently and our recruitment of quality staff in all areas continues. To support our exciting business plans we are to recruit the following new positions – Marketing manager, Head of Sales – and additional Business Development Managers”.
