Mortgage Advice Bureau Network Partner Scotland has been awarded the Princess Royal Training Award 2018 for its training accreditation programme, becoming the only mortgage company to receive the award this year.

The award honoursemployers who have created outstanding training and skills development programmes which have resulted in exceptional commercial benefits.

Itwas presented during a ceremony at St James’ Palace, London on 31 October 2018.

Darren Polson, the company’s senior training and performance manager, said: “Our business is about people.

“This is one of our fundamental beliefs and it’s reflected in our approach to the training, development and investment in our people, so we are thrilled to receive this recognition of our Adviser Induction Programme.”

Mortgage Advice Bureau Network Partner Scotlandhas been given the accreditation for its Adviser Induction Programme.

The comprehensive 13-week course aims to help advisers at its offices throughout Scotland to maximise their potential, minimise attrition and provide a basis for ongoing personal development.

The awardsweredelivered by the City & Guilds Group, whose president, HRH The Princess Royal, is a keen advocate of skills development.
