Mortgage Advice Bureau reaches award milestone

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) has achieved 150 awards for its quality of advice and service.

One of the most notable accolades was becoming one of 44 UK companies to achieve a City & Guilds Princess Royal Training Award from HRH Princess Anne.

MAB’s first award was won in 2010 and since then the company has been awarded accolades such as best overall broker and best broker for protection.

Peter Brodnicki, chief executive of Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “We have some extremely talented people at MAB and across our partner firms, and we owe where we are today to those individuals.

“To achieve 150 awards and be consistently recognised by our industry peers acknowledges the hard work and constant desire to improve shown by everybody associated with MAB.”

MAB will celebrate its 20th birthday next year.

Brodnicki added: “As we prepare to enter our 20th year, this is a reminder of how far the business has come over the past two decades, and our ongoing commitment to providing a 360-degree experience for our customers, encompassing face-to-face, telephone and digital.

“MAB was born out of a desire to create something independent and unique.

"Although the market is now very different to when we started out almost 20 years ago, our product innovation and investment in technology allows us to remain 100% relevant to customers by thinking about how they want to receive advice and transact throughout the whole home moving process.

“Technology and changes in regulation will have a significant impact on the intermediary landscape over the next five years, and I see this as a clear opportunity for MAB to strengthen its market position further by ensuring our customers and advisers benefit fully.”
