Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) is set to feature a keynote presentation by the Bank of England.

The event will be held in Leeds on 30 April at the Royal Armouries.

Paul Mount, deputy agent at the Bank of England, will present an economic update on key issues concerning the UK economy, including its prospects over the next few years in both the consumer and business sectors, as well as global activity.

According to Mortgage Business Expo, other seminars will feature keynote speeches by leading industry influencers on the specialist property finance, fintech, the mortgage market and later life lending.

Furthermore free registration is now available, and MBE adds that visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the finance and planning needs for their clients with building societies, specialist lenders and retirement planning providers

Mike Mikunda from MBE said: “We are delighted to once again have a high profile speaker from the Bank of England at an MBE Expo, particularly at this important time for the economy.

"It will certainly be a presentation a lot of people will want to attend.

“With a strong finance community in Yorkshire, the Leeds Expo allows brokers, IFAs and introducers to talk directly with lenders and service providers about their latest products.

"Further speakers will be announced soon and it’s gearing up to be another exciting Expo.”
