Providing its ARs with marketing support facilities, including downloadable marketing templates and guides to financial promotions, the online marketing department has been grouped into five zones; incorporating guides, lead generation, marketing templates, client newsletters and car leasing facilities. The system has been designed specifically for Mortgage Next Network AR members.

Announcing the launch of the virtual marketing department, Justine Tomlinson, marketing director for Mortgage Next Network, explained the idea had been conceived following discussions with its members. She said: “We have held a series of business lunches with ARs to find out how we can help them build their businesses. Providing marketing support was a high priority, but they clearly wanted more than simple ‘how to’ notes.

“Our online marketing department has therefore been designed to give them the tools with which they can do the job. The site is full of downloadable templates, guides and information which can be put to immediate use to generate more business and income.” Tomlinson confirmed the site would be updated regularly, and added: “It is being launched exclusively via our ARs, but will be extended shortly thereafter to include directly authorised (DA) brokers who are members of the Passport scheme.”

Paul Hunt, marketing manager at Platform, welcomed any market initiative that highlighted and tackled Financial Promotions. He said: “Anything that helps develop Financial Promotions within the market should be welcomed. Understanding Financial Promotions is a major part of any business and tools or advice that help with this should help Mortgage Next Network members.”
