Mortgage Trust improves service proposition

Offers will now be distributed via email rather than the traditional method of postal delivery. This move will significantly improve the speed at which the mortgage fulfilment process can take place and will enable intermediaries to offer an improved service to their clients.

By speeding up the application process, the system will further enhance the service provided to Mortgage Trust’s intermediary partners.

Paul Clampin, head of new lending at Mortgage Trust, commented: “Following the completion of a successful trial, we are delighted to be able to introduce our email offer facility to all of our broker contacts. We have worked closely with our intermediary clients in facilitating this service, and recognise the increasingly important role that digital processing will play in the mortgage sector.

“Providing offers via email will not only avoid the delays often associated with postal distribution, but will also enhance cost efficiency, helping us to continue to offer attractive product rates. The prospect of further technological development is an exciting one, and we intend to continually review our processes in order to provide the best possible system for our brokers.”
