NatWest reintroduces 2-year semi-exclusives

NatWest has reintroduced 2-year semi-exclusive deals for both purchases and remortgages and altered rates to the core and semi-exclusive ranges of residential purchase mortgages and remortgages.

The new residential core range includes a 2-year fixed rate purchases, at 60% LTV, at 1.54% (3.8% APRC, 3.99% SVR), £995 product fee a £250 cashback. Similarly with the same LTV and product fee but without the cashback, there’s a withdrawal product with a rate of 1.66%.

In terms of rate changes for a 5-year fixed rate, highlights include: 80% LTV, increasing by 8bps from 2.10% to 2.18% (3.4% APRC, 3.99% SVR), with a £995 product fee and £250 cashback. There’s also 85% LTV, increasing by 3bps from 2.31% to 2.34% (3.4% APRC, 3.99% SVR) with a £995 product fee and £250 cashback.

Mark Bullard, head of sales at Natwest said: “We’ve taken this opportunity to reintroduce our semi-exclusive deals for both purchases and remortgages with some very competitive 2-year products.

“Having reviewed our portfolio we have also made some adjustments to rates to reflect the current market conditions and balance our mix of business.”

For semi-exclusive new purchases, there’s a 2-year fixed rate at 1.53% and 60% LTV with a £995 product fee and £350 cashback and a 5-year fixed rate at 1.91% with the same LTV, product fee and cashback. And there’s a 2-year fixed rate remortgage at 1.61% and 60% LTV with a £995 product fee.

There’s a 5-year fixed rate purchase at 85% LTV, increasing by 8bps from 2.16% to 2.24% with a £995 product fee and £500 cashback and 90% LTV, increasing by 2bps from 2.99% to 3.01%, without a product fee but a £500 cashback.

For 5-year fixed rate remortgages, there’s a 85% LTV, increasing by 10bps from 2.24% to 2.34% (3.5% APRC, 3.99% SVR) and a £995 product fee

And there’s a 90% LTV, rising by 20bps from 2.49% to 2.69% with a £995 product fee and £500 cashback.
