Specialist intermediary-focused debt management firm Blu Debt Management (Blu) has responded to this huge increase by opening a new regional office in Hertfordshire. Through the new office Blu will offer its complete range of debt management solutions to mortgage brokers, IFAs and other professional advisers. Blu will assist financial advisers of all types to help clients for whom remortgaging is no longer an option; they will also provide introducing advisers with specialist support and another source of income.

Blu operates throughout the UK and this will be its fifth intermediary-focused regional office aimed at giving brokers and IFAs more hands on support in their local area.

Paul Gosling will head the new office. Commenting, he said: “Blu has a unique package to assist advisers with their clients’ current and historic debt issues. With the increase in calls for debt management solutions I am looking forward to providing a high quality service to mortgage brokers and IFAs through London and the South East over the coming years and plan for Blu to be the leading provider of debt management in the region.”

James Briggs, Blu’s sales director, will be working closely with Paul to expand the office’s capacity to handle the growing number of introducers requiring help for debt-laden clients. Paul and James will be running a series of CPD approved seminars and workshops; these will help advisers to fully understand the range of debt solutions available, and how they will help their clients while always embracing the principles of treating customers fairly.
