Newbury Building Society has joined MortgageApply, Twenty7Tec's new online application process which helps intermediaries save time when placing applications with lenders.

Through using MortgageApply, intermediaries are able to connect directly to lenders without having to login to each lender’s individual portal and can then track their submissions from application through to case completion.

The system also enables lenders to centrally review all application documents in one central place.

Roger Knight, lending manager at Newbury Building Society, said:“Providing intermediaries with choices in how they can do business with us is a key part of our service strategy.

“MortgageApply is a quick and effective system for intermediaries to use, making the process easier for everyone. We are committed to providing an excellent service and our joining Twenty7Tec’s application MortgageApply demonstrates this.”

Melanie Spencer, head of lender relationships, of Twenty7Tec, added:“It’s been a pleasure to work with Roger and the team at Newbury, and we are delighted to see yet another building society embracing technology and providing a seamless application submission journey for mortgage intermediaries.”
