Octopus Real Estate has promoted Oliver Porter (pictured) to external business development manager (BDM), to focus on the East of England.

Porter joined from Shawbrook Bank in 2018 as an internal BDM.

In his new role, Porter will focus on Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, and the surrounding areas.

This news follows on from the promotion of Steve Bowes to external business development manager covering the north, and Kayley Stelfox to internal business development manager in the Manchester office.

Daniel Murray, head of sales at Octopus Real Estate, said: “The East has historically been a strong region for us and so it was an obvious choice to promote Oliver to enable him to concentrate on the region and get to know the brokers more.

“Recently we have seen some diverse deals come to us from the regions and so this promotion, in addition to the recent promotions and hires in the Manchester office, is testament to our dedication to the regions.”
