Cover for everyday cyclists and enthusiasts is now available from just £1.99 a month, giving intermediaries the opportunity to offer cover to their clients who use their bicycle to get to work or just for fun at the weekend.

Main benefits include like-for-like replacement for all bikes up to three years’ old, “get you home” cover as standard, public liability cover up to £2 million and access to a roadside recovery network.

Sales & marketing director Kevin Paterson said: “This relationship allows us to provide our intermediaries with the flexibility to offer all general insurance products as part of their portfolio. Intermediaries can now extend a wider variety of covers to their customers and establish valuable new income generators – all at no extra cost.”

Intermediaries can point their clients to great value travel insurance with a choice of cover levels to suit their individual requirements. Prices start from just £3.80 for single trips and £24.82 for annual multi-trip cover. One important benefit in the current economic climate is cover for redundancy is included as standard.

And as clients rely more and more on their smart phones and laptops, intermediaries can offer them customisable gadget insurance to protect their electronic devices. Prices start from just £1.49 per month and extra special rates are available for iPhones and iPads – and there is one month’s free cover on all policies.

Intermediaries interested in setting up a link to Protect your bubble.com must have their own customer facing website and register onhttp://www.assurantintermediary.co.uk.

Each intermediary is assigned a unique identifier and will receive a fee for any sale originating from their clients visiting Protect your bubble.com from the intermediary’s own site.

Equally important, the linking system has been designed so it will identify any client returning directly to Protectyourbubble.com to renew their policy who had originally purchased their policy via the intermediary’s own site. This means the intermediary will also receive a fee for renewals.
