One in three brokers receive free leads via mobile app

Figures released today by Mortgage Brain show that over 1,800 ‘real leads’ have been delivered to brokers with broker contact details being viewed over 15,000 times since its launch in April 2012.

The app, a first of its kind in the mortgage industry which promotes brokers and mortgage products to consumers, has also been downloaded by 32,000 consumers and used over 161,000 times in the past six months.

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the ongoing success of UKmortgages. The app was designed to be a ‘yellow pages’ for consumers to find brokers on the latest mobile devices with the prime purpose of collectively supporting brokers by delivering free leads.

“Our latest figures clearly demonstrate this and further reinforce the time and investment spent in developing the app for the benefit of the mortgage intermediary market as a whole.”

Available free-of-charge on the iPhone, iPad and Android devices, UKmortgages allows homebuyers to conduct high level mortgage searches (broker products only), use a range of mortgage calculators, and then, through its ‘Find a Broker’ facility, use GPS navigation to show and provide contact details for the nearest broker.

All brokers who use Mortgage Brain’s mortgage sourcing systems are entitled to be promoted within the Find a Broker section at no charge and all leads and enquiries are passed on, again at no charge.
