The free half day regional workshops are aimed at a broad range of advisers – from those who currently have no impaired business to those that would like to refresh their knowledge. The workshops will provide essential information on the following subjects and will also qualify for CPD points:

– Managing impaired opportunities, including how to broach the very sensitive issues associated with medical conditions
– Impaired underwriting, including analysis of real life examples
– The Care Risk Assessment Model

The seminars will be taking place in:
– Birmingham 23 February
– Gatwick 28 February
– Manchester 7 March

Mike Douglas, chief operating officer, Partnership Assurance, commented; “Over 20% of people over 65 have health impairments that could affect their underwriting, yet many advisers are unsure about how to best manage an impaired client. This series of workshops will enable advisers to meet their clients’ specific needs by providing accurate and up to date advice on the products and options available, including the very unique challenges that an adviser may face with clients who have suffered medical problems.”
