Personal Touch joins APFA
The trade association’s director general Chris Hannant said Personal Touch is joining at an interesting time for the profession, as pensions freedoms will shake up the market when they come into play from April.
He added: “We are delighted to have Personal Touch joining us as a member.
“Alongside regulatory demands and the prospect of a change of government in May, it’s more important than ever for professional financial advice to speak with one voice.”
Simon Hewitt, senior wealth manager at Personal Touch, said: “We’re looking forward to working with Chris and the APFA team to help shape the profession in the years to come.
“It’s an exciting time for our wealth advisers and APFA plays an important role supporting the profession and championing advisers’ interests – we’re pleased to be a part of that.”
