Shawbrook expands strategic partner panel

Commercial broker Commercial Expert has been awarded strategic partner status, along with lending packager, Intelligent Loans.

Both are Strategic Partners in investment loans under £750K, trading business loans and short term loans.

Additionally Newsource and 3MC are now strategic partners on larger loans and ATOM is a strategic partner on short term loans.

Karen Bennett, director of sales and marketing, commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank, said: “We’re very pleased to see the growth in our Strategic Partner programme and specifically welcome the newest additions.

“This scheme was put in place over a year ago to recognise the reduced costs of working with certain broker partners whose business converts at a higher standard and who submit consistent business levels.”

Shawbrook launched its Strategic Partnership programme in September 2012 with 18 commercial mortgage brokers, to recognise and encourage the highest quality of business from its brokers.

The 32 Strategic Partners now in the programme, who have met the criteria required, receive exclusive process and marketing benefits, as well as higher commission rates across the range of Shawbrook’s products.
