Shawbrook grows sales desk
Woods will be tasked with building the relationship between Shawbrook and its brokers, helping intermediaries shape new enquiries to determine if they fit the bank’s criteria to help cases progress efficiently.
He will generate new business, primarily from broker partners in areas that are not covered by field sales teams.
Woods said: “I’m looking forward to working closely with our brokers to help them understand what we need to get comfortable with a deal.
“I relish the challenges involved in this role and look forward to the opportunities it will bring.”
Since the mid-1990s Matthew Woods has worked for Cantor Fitzgerald as a US Treasury broker, JPMorgan in change management, ANZ Bank in collateral management, and most recently at BNY Mellon.
