Shawbrook’s residential mortgages division has hired Fran Green as business development manager from Secure Trust Bank.
In the new role Green (pictured) will cover North England and Scotland.
Green has a varied CV which includes roles at Furness Building Society, Mortgage Next, Sesame Bankhall Group, Source Insurance, Precise Mortgages and finally Secure Trust Bank – which today said it was considering halting new mortgage lending.
Green said: “Whilst a relatively new bank, Shawbrook have achieved great things in a short time.
“Its success so far, its surprising size, its product innovation and its exciting plans for the future are what attracted me to the position.
“Being part of a small yet dynamic team lead by experienced and accomplished management gives me the confidence that this position will offer all the aspects of a role that I can really enjoy and be successful in.”
Green has been tasked with further developing relationships with Shawbrook’s existing intermediary partners, as well as attracting new business to help grow its core residential lending arm, plus opening doors to new product offerings upon their launch.
David Robinson, sales director, Shawbrook Residential Mortgages, said: “Fran’s depth and breadth of experience puts her in a great position to support our intermediary partners and we look forward to her further enhancing our coverage in the Northern and Scottish regions.”
