The SimplyBiz group training and knowledge manager, Michael Pashley, has won the Turris Partnership Trophy for the best exam results in the Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS) category.
The award was presented by the Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow.
Fellowship, held by more than 5,000 working practitioners, is the CII’s highest level of qualification.
Matt Timmins, joint chief executive of The SimplyBiz Group, said: “I’d like to personally congratulate Michael on this well-deserved recognition for all of his hard work, being named winner of the Turris Partnership Trophy is a fantastic achievement.
“Learning, training and development are core focuses of The SimplyBiz Group – in respect of both our staff and the firms who use our services – and I’m delighted that someone of Michael’s dedication and calibre is leading the delivery of these services to our members.”
Pashley joined The SimplyBiz Group at the beginning of 2019 to spearhead the company’s technical training and development programme.
He added: “I am very proud to have achieved this prestigious award, and to be in a role which allows me to apply the technical knowledge gained every day to help our SimplyBiz Group members deliver the very highest quality financial advice.
“The group actively encourages learning and development of all its colleagues, and I’m looking forward to further exam success in 2020.”
