SimplyBiz Mortgages will launch a ‘Battle of the Bands’ event for its members this autumn, wherebysix lenders go head-to-head to be crowned SimplyBiz Mortgages members’ lender of value for 2018.

Each event will feature two banks, two building societies and two centralised lenders, highlighting how they can help benefit their members business. The six lenders on the agenda are Accord Mortgages, Aldermore Bank, Kensington, Nationwide, Santander and Together Money.

SimplyBiz Mortgages has challenged the presenters to pitch to delegates on the reasons why their company adds value against SimplyBiz Mortgages’ four pillars of success for members. These are: saving them time, creating new business opportunities, increasing their turnover and keeping their business safe and secure

Martin Reynolds, chief executive of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said:“SimplyBiz Mortgages will have run over 80 events by the end of this year to help members remain compliant and increase profitability.

“Understanding the pressures on our members’ time, we strive to design innovative events that will be of real value to our members, from our ever-popular round table and platform presentations to more practically focussed workshops.

“The Battle of the Brands events are a chance for lenders to do a full pitch to our members, then see how that information is received.

“We believe that they will be fun events, but will allow everyone who attends or presents to benefit. Let the battle commence, and may the best lender win!”

There will be 13 events across the country, starting in Southampton on the 1November and finishing in Swindon on the 29 November.

Other venues include Cornwall, Cardiff and East Anglia. Attendee feedback will be collated using all 13 data sets from the events and the overall winner will be announced at the end of the round.
