Solent launches incentive package

The package of three incentives includes free valuations on all available products in the range for both purchase and remortgage, free legals, including disbursements on all remortgages through Goldsmith Williams solicitors, and a £300 cashback after the case’s completion on all purchases.

Mortgages are renowned for being difficult to get through, so I would rather the process take two weeks than four. However, if a lender was charging an evaluation or booking fee, but I felt confident in their standard of service, I would recommend to my client to go with them instead. The problem is that lenders and packagers are not consistent; there are some who have a chaotic underwriting process. But if the service is there, then I would be tempted.”
