The last six months up to January 2018 also saw remortgage conveyancing increase by 57% over the same periodthe year before. This reflects the increasing popularity of remortgage business in response to upward pressure on interest rates and the decreasing number of cheap fixed rate deals.
January 2018 also saw the highest number of new users of the SortRefer portal in a single month.
