Spicerhaart secures contract with Kier Living

Kier Living, one of the UK’s biggest housing developers, has appointed Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Assisted Move for its first development in South Wales.

Kier Living has been building homes in the UK for more than 70 years, offering a wide range of properties, from one bedroom apartments to luxury family homes.

Jayne Greenslade, acting sales director Kier living’s Central and Wales and West region, said: “Buyers will be purchasing off plan, so we wanted to be able to offer the security of staying in their current home until their new home is ready for them.

“Young families in particular favour part-exchange as it offers them a stress-free move with no chains to worry about.

“Spicerhaart has a local office in Cardiff, meaning valuations and subsequent part exchange offers are made as quickly as possible.

“We know they are able to guarantee sales and fast turnaround times, and that is exactly what we need.”

Kier Living recently launched Kier Living Wales & West and its first project is Caerwent Gardens - a development of 70 two, three and four bedroom homes in Dinas Powys, in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Spicerhaart is offering Kier its funded part exchange service, a solution for housebuilders and developers who do not run their own part exchange scheme.

Lewis Watts, business development manager at Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Assisted Move, said: “Unlike other part exchange companies, we work with a number of specialist, cash-rich buyers so we can facilitate the purchase of any property, at any value, anywhere in the country. Even properties with structural or other problems can be considered.”

Any buyers that do not meet the criteria for part exchange can use the assisted move option, where Spicerhaart uses its estate agency network – including Darlows and Haart – to sell the customer’s home with no estate agency fees.

The first homes from the Caerwent gardens development have been released for sale now, and the ‘Lindford’ four-bedroom detached show home the will launch on November 3.

Greenslade added: “We aim to offer a seamless process for our customers and with the assistance of Spicerhaart we are confident that we will be able to achieve this.

“Our relationship with Spicerhaart will only strengthen our overall customer service and we hope that we can continue to work with them on future developments in our region.”
