The FSA has granted TMB’s application for permissions and the lender will be fully authorised come M Day on 31 October 2004, enabling TMB to lend and administer regulated mortgage contracts.

Bill Dudgeon, managing director, The Mortgage Business, said:  “Naturally, we are delighted to receive our scope of permissions notice from the FSA. This sets out the range of activities we are authorised to conduct.”

Mark Bergin, Director of Sales and Marketing of The Mortgage Business, said: “We are very pleased to be granted the relevant permissions from the FSA and look forward to conducting business post Mortgage Day with our full range of products.

“We also look forward to continue the good work we do with our partners, including regulated and non-regulated packagers.”
