Together hires two corporate relationship directors

Specialist lender Together has appointed two corporate relationship directors, Andrew Fouli for London and Sonia Mann for the Midlands.

Both will report to Andrew Charnley, head of the new corporate relationship team at Together. The team provides finance for clients seeking to raise capital or acquire property or land, and typically, may seek to borrow £1m or more.

Charnley said: “We’re delighted to welcome Andrew at a time when we’re realising our future growth plans.

“He has a wealth of experience in managing corporate relationships across the UK, and is well-known as a dedicated and commercially astute property finance and business development specialist.”

He added: “Sonia’s experience speaks for itself. She has an enviable track record in commercial and business banking and is a dedicated and professional, with the drive to succeed.

“I’m sure she’ll be a fantastic asset to Together and we look forward to working with her as she further expands our business in the Midlands.”

Fouli has a career in banking spanning nearly 30 years and joins from Cynergy Bank, formerly the Bank of Cyprus UK, where he held a number of senior property finance and leadership positions.

He said: “It’s a really exciting prospect to be joining Together at an exciting time when the business is really going places.

“My aim is to continue to enhance the group’s position as a leader in the specialist finance industry. It has more than 40 years of successful trading and an enviable track record of providing finance to businesses and individuals.

“I’m really impressed with the common sense running throughout the Together Group and its clear ambition to re-shape what we think of as traditional financial services.”

Mann joins from Santander, where she was a sales relationship manager, responsible for growing the bank’s asset finance arm by creating innovative ways to attract new business.

She added: “Joining such a well-established business will be a fantastic new challenge for me personally as it continues to build on its position as a leader in the specialist finance industry.

“I have more than two decades’ experience in leading and inspiring successful teams to deliver quality results. I’m really looking forward to bringing this experience to my new position, widening Together’s reach in the Midlands - and providing the finance businesses need to turn their plans into reality.”
