Together increased loan originations by 15.8% in the three months to 30 September compared to the one before.

Its loan originations reached £125.4m, up from £108.3m in the three months to June 30.

Over the same period it increased underlying profit before tax by 2.9% to £31m.

Mike McTighe (pictured), group chairman of Together, said: “While detailed Brexit negotiations may increase market volatility and the UK economic outlook remains mixed, this may create further opportunities for specialist lenders.

“With our successful 43 year track record, established business model and the investment we are making in our platform we believe Together is well placed to benefit from these conditions and to deliver on our ambitious growth plans.”

Over the quarter the LTVs on its originations stood at 57.8%.
