TSB has made a number of changes to rates across its residential and remortgage ranges.

For its 5-year fixed remortgage up to 60% loan-to-value (LTV) the lender has reduced rates by 0.05%.

Meanwhile TSB has increased rates by 0.05% for its 5-year fixed remortgages from 60% to 75% LTV and for its 2-year fixed house purchase from 90% to 95% LTV.

Nick Smith, TSB’s head of mortgages, said: “Over the past few weeks we have seen the cost of borrowing on 5-year fixed rate deals continue to fall.

“Today’s changes will prove particularly attractive for those who have a large deposit and will also offer peace of mind to those wanting to fix their monthly payments for a longer-term.”
