Uinsure named as GI Supplier for the Melton and Mansfield building societies

New customers will be referred to Uinsure, together with existing building society customers on renewal of their existing policies.

Uinsure has been selected by both the Melton Building Society and Mansfield Building Society to become the sole supplier of home insurance for their customers.

The partnerships are the first building society collaborations for the firm which has previously worked exclusively with the intermediary market.

The arrangements mean new customers will be referred to Uinsure, together with existing building society customers on renewal of their existing policies.

Jason Berry, Uinsure’s director of sales, said: “We are delighted that both the Melton and Mansfield Building Society have chosen Uinsure to become the sole supplier of home insurance for their new and existing customers.

“We believe that our Uinsure proposition is the best in the market and our five star Defaqto rated insurance policies provide excellent cover and peace of mind to a growing population of brand advocates.

“Furthermore, I am confident that in the event of a claim Uinsure’s customer oriented approach will meet the highest possible industry standards.”

Nicola Alvarez, sales and marketing director at the Melton Building Society, added: “The appointment of Uinsure comes after a great deal of market research and due diligence.

“Ensuring our customers receive the right cover at a competitive price is paramount to our decision making process.

“I am reassured that Uinsure’s award winning proposition can satisfy the current and future needs of our customers."

And Richard Crisp, commercial development executive at Mansfield Building Society, said: “Uinsure have demonstrated a real ‘can do’ approach since the moment we started talking.

“We have been impressed with Uinsure’s customer focus; it balances a comprehensive level of cover with fair pricing – I’m confident our customers will be impressed and very much look forward to growing our partnership."
